The mission of Boy Scout Troop 155 is to provide year round opportunities for young men who are 11 through 18 years of age to have a fun, challenging, supportive, and exciting Scouting experience through discovery and volunteer community service.

Active, enthusiastic scouts are supported by trained adults and involved parents in an outdoor based, year round, boy-run program that holds their interest. We encourage scouts to advance in rank so they have the skills to enjoy the opportunities presented, but not at the expense of fun. The Scouts will teach, reinforce, and focus on the core concepts of Scouting Program as described in the Scout Oath, Scout Law, Scout Motto and the Outdoor Code.

Our goal is to prepare young men to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime through the development of strong character, leadership abilities, and an understanding of social responsibility.

Troop 155 meets every Thursday at the Salvation Army Community Center - 650 Petit Ave. Ventura, CA (7:00pm-8:30pm). For more information on our program, please contact Scoutmaster, Lee Klein at

Our October Outing is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 14th for Deep Sea Fishing! Feel free to invite your family & friends on this PRIVATE CHARTER! Click on the link for the info and to sign up. Just a friendly reminder that our Spaghetti Dinner is just 1 week away! We still have some openings available for people to sign up to bring sauces & sides to the dinner! We'll also have our Fall Court of Honor & recognize all our scouts on their achievements for the last 4 months! Our very fun raffle prizes & dessert will wrap up our fun evening. Raffle tickets are 10 for $5. Scouts will get 1 free ticket for coming and a ticket for every scouting outing they participated in the last 4 months! AWESOME!

Membership Renewals - Due Oct. 4th

It's that time of year again to renew your annual Troop 155 Membership for 2019! The fees and paperwork are due Thurs, Oct 4th. Attached is the annual renewal info PLUS every parent will need to do the new online Youth Protection Training located at If your name is highlighted on Pg. 3, I'll need an updated Medical A/B form (NOT "PART C" AT THIS TIME) with a front/back copy of your medical insurance card. UPDATED DATE CHANGE: Parents - We need at least 1 parent from each family to come to our annual mandatory parent meeting that will be on Thurs, Sept 13TH to go over Troop Membership renewal, Summer Camp 2019, annual youth paperwork, and to have adult volunteer sign-ups for 2019 Committee/Leadership positions.
